Proof I Take Notes on Sunday...

See? See? Right there on the right in the tiny little microscopic miniscule box.

On another note, don't you think it's hilarious in church when the mom runs in, hands dad the kid and the gargantuan diaper bag, and vanishes without a trace? I sure do, but then again, I'm not so sure the guy in the corner would agree with me. He was completely dumfounded whilst I laughed hysterically in the background. Luckily there were some pretty funny kids to mask my amusement.
Just thought I'd post something here since it's been a while.

Gestures With New Mediums

In case you weren't aware I suck. I suck so bad, in fact, that I get excited that my same old crappy drawings are in new pens. XD

I hope you enjoy the new stuff. Don't feel the need to console me. I know I'm not that bad, but I just started going back to the gesture sessions and I need practice to get back in the habit.

#8: The Usual Place

Quay and I met last Saturday and sketched. Imagine that.

We just stayed at the usual meeting place. No big deal.

If anyone wants to sketch, join us this Saturday at 1!

Way Behind

I guess I'm just behind the times a bit. I've got stuff from stake conference and from the mall trip FOREVER ago.

Good to be back out there!

We had fun. Hope you guys can come next time!

SketchTrip #7: Provo Towne Center Mall

After a bit of a hiatus, the Sketchers Anonymous got back at it today! Joe, Rapha and I visited the Provo Towne Center Mall. Post your best stuff!

Do Saturday afternoons work well for everyone? I know one person won't be able to make it.... any other times you guys could do?

Oh, and be sure to visit Storytellers Anonymous (and whip up some boards/illustrations for it too!).

Topic Sketches

So Aaron had an idea to come up with different ideas for sketches so we can keep up with the drawing. I though one of the assignments of the story boarding class is to illustrate a story. It would be cool if we could post our awesome ideas about it.

Sorry for the poor English, still working on it.
See ya

Isn't Conference Great?

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of loafing in my pjs, hanging with family, and feeling the Spirit. Here's an attempt at Elders Scott and Nelson (they both had awesome talks):

Here's another conference regular: Halftime Reporter Carol Mikita:

I enjoyed the museum

Gay Fat Sketchbook!

So I just found out that my sketch book is an inch too fat for my scanner. That's the gayest bunch of crap ever.... *sigh*. The good news is that I suck at PS and can kinda splice two scans together.

On a brighter note this trip was tight! My first time trying to draw animals! It was fun stuff... I just wasn't brave enough to get the full body yet.

I didn't see ANY beans...

This trip was a lot of fun.

Sketchtrip 5: The Bean Museum

Fang-deer and ligers and bears! Oh my!

Okay, duck pond day wasn't my best. But it was fun! Here's what I got:

Crack Spider

These are some sketches from the Duck Pond. It was really fun there. This duck on the bottom left literally stopped in front of us for 20 min., we called him the duck model. There was a bunch of kids there, really fun to draw. We had five people there, its exiting to see that the group is getting bigger. See you guys next week.

Sketchtrip 4: The Duck Pond

Our fourth escapade took us to the fabulous duck pond at BYU. Post your best work!

Oh, and a hearty welcome to our two newest group members, Joseph Slinker and Allen Ostergar.

Crack Spider

Whatsssssssssss up.

So this week was freeeeezing. I think I only did two sketches because I couldn'tdraw with frozen hands. This is one of them . See you all and have a great week

The Cold Canyon

Yeah, it was freezing out there. But we weren't the crazy ones. The crazy ones were all those runners in the Stockton-esque short shorts. Brrrr.

SketchTrip 3: Provo Canyon

So this week we took our sketchbooks to the outdoors, visiting Provo Canyon. We had a great time studying nature (and freezing our biscuits off). Post your best!

SketchTrip 2: Provo Pioneer Park

Okay, this week's trip wasn't such a hum-dinger (and we were kinda pressed for time). But scan and post your sketches anyway! Oh, and be sure to post your stuff from week 1 if you haven't already!
This Saturday we're hoping to go up Provo Canyon. Word is there are some parks and rec stuff up there. So it should be a great combo of nature/people/sasquatches.

This is one of pages that I did when I went to the mall with Aaron, Quai and Paul last Saturday. See ya

From the Food Court

Okay, looking through mine there wasn't anything too great. But Quay and I did have a good view of a lot of people from our perches in the food court. So here's what I got:

Week 1: University Mall

Well, here goes nothing. Hopefully all of us are just about set up as blog members. Go ahead and post your best page or two!
